Olivia did some of her writing and worked on patterns.. today she did Red, White and Blue - made a bracelet and pattern flag. 
We played dress up. I think I have a photo of Olivia in the same hat when she was two years old. 
Watched Olivia perform a puppet show!
Watered the garden...
And during the toddler's naptime, she did some quiet work with the big girls. 
Welcome Back!!!
They are supposed to take 110 days.. which puts us at mid to late September. I'm hoping the pumpkins will keep until Halloween. These are supposed to be perfect for carving. 
We are going to watch the seeds VERY closely over the next few weeks. 
The rest of our garden is doing great! We havent been able to harvest anything yet but soon I hope. 
My machine does some letter embroidery so Keira and I put each child's name on their eye pillow this time..
Keira is my little helper... she loves things like cooking and sewing. I can imagine her years from now caring for her own family and really getting into her home and domestic tasks. She'd pick this kind of activity over any toy or television show you could offer.

Her bunk (she's the top bunk)... there is NO electricity in the cabins. They have a lodge where they have electricity and a kitchen but that's it.

She will have such an amazing experience. They are going to climb the highest mountain in Vermont! No cell phones, Ipods or electronics allowed and lots of hard work! We will miss her so much but I know she will have a blast. Wish I could go!
